Antwerp firm on right track with jewellery store in Eurostar terminal

January 24, 2011

Antwerp diamond jewellery company Diamant Jewels is making its Belgian brand goods available to international travellers with the opening of a boutique at the Eurostar Terminal at Brussels Midi train station, becoming the first diamond jewellery boutique in the terminal.

In addition to Belgium’s famous chocolates, visitors heading abroad on the train will have the opportunity to buy diamond jewellery made in the country which also come with HRD Antwerp grading reports, the company said.

The collections designed by Diamant Jewels, which has been a jewellery wholesaler for 30 years, have Italian mountings and Belgian diamonds, said managing directors Lina Mehta and Rittika Mehta.

They believe the new boutique will be a success because of the company’s philosophy of creating luxury diamond jewellery for a wide range of buyers.

Their collections are set with minimum G colour and VS clarity diamonds, and in addition to an HRD Antwerp certificate there is a guarantee of the "Flemish cut" and quality of the diamonds.

There is also an option for customized diamond jewellery where buyers can choose the diamond and mounting which are all set in yellow, white or pink 18K gold.
