Looking forward to next month's third edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair (ADTF), Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) CEO Ari Epstein said that as the main sponsor, the AWDC was looking forward to welcoming participants from across the world.
More than 200 specially invited jewellers and diamond buyers from Asia, Europe and North America will be introduced to the wide choice of polished diamonds that Antwerp's finest diamond companies can offer to the downstream gem and jewellery market at the January 29-31 show.
Epstein believes that the diamantaires and jewelers will find plenty of interest in the goods on offer whether or not it is their first encounter with the Antwerp trademark of excellence. "Some of the company representatives will have visited Belgian firms at Antwerp Diamond Pavilions at trade shows worldwide, or met members of a trade mission or roadshow," he said. "For others it might be their first visit to the world’s most important diamond trade hub where 80 percent of all rough diamonds and half of the world’s polished diamonds are traded. Meanwhile, for many of the participants, it will be a return visit to the city.
"Whether they are a first-time guest or returning visitor, the ADTF is a truly exclusive event that brings you right to the doorstep of that source, arguably the best place for anyone interested in finding the best there is to find in our business. That is precisely why AWDC is proud that the third Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair is again being held under its auspices. We strongly encourage any initiative that brings buyers directly to Antwerp, which has been leading the global diamond industry successfully for more than five centuries."
Epstein added the AWDC was also looking forward to welcoming participants to the fair's prestigious Opening Gala where they will enjoy the culinary skills of the famous chef Lionel Rigolet, as well as a recital by the renowned soprano Ana-Camelia Stefanescu.
